A strange one this, which is confusing right from the start in terms of plot. It all feels a little disjointed, with conversations seeming to start half way through, and finish just as abruptly.
The plot, as far as I can figure it out, is this: Certain people, for various reasons, die before their time. When this happens, some of them are selected and transported to a room with a bunch of other pickees. After hanging around in the room for a while, bewildered, a huge black ball appears. At this point, one of the gathered instructs them that they have to don a suit which is imbued with special powers, and go off to fight an alien(!) Thing is, they have no choice about fighting the alien, as they are transported automatically at a given point in time, at which moment the huge black ball starts counting down an hour - the time they have to dispatch the alien menace.
It's all rather odd, none of the characters are likeable in any way with no redeeming features, and it also has possibly the worst title music of any show I have ever heard - a hideous Japanese interpretation of 'jungle' - yet it is strangely compelling, and will keep you watching.
Far from the best anime out there, but still intriguing enough to recommend.

In the centre of the room, a black sphere of unknown design or intention.

The Aren't Human The sphere issues instructions: everyone in the room must attempt to kill an alien menace. They are provided with suits and guns, and a GPS system to track the beastie.

Then That Means At That Time The survivors return to their normal lives, though in possession of their suits. Kei wears his to school where he becomes the victim of bullying and is forced to resort to using the suits powers once more.

All Right! Kei is quite excited when Kishimoto asks if she can stay with him at his apartment. He agrees, and has clear sexual designs, though she deflects his advances skillfully, without hurting his feelings.

We're After You Kishimoto wishes to see what her facsimile is doing.

Uh-oh! The survivors of the initial test are once more called by the black sphere.

Kill It There! Katou forgets his power suit, which could be a problem when confronted huge igglie-gribblies.
The group is informed that wearing someone else's suit has no effect, you may as well be wearing normal clothes.

Yuuzou-kun? Nishi does battle with the new alien menace but experiences problems with both his weapon and his suit, rendering him vulnerable to attack.

I Can't Shoot Him The alien has Nishi in a vice-like grip and issues forth an almighty bellow, straight down his ear, causing his eyes to pop. He survives, however, and after Kei-chan manages to kill the thing, he informs the group that to escape the black sphere, you need to amass 100 points.
