Part pagan folk, part blackened melodic death, this has melody and aggression in equal measure.
The tunes are bombastic affairs, with a chest pumping, groin thrusting quality to them that is most pleasing.
Vocally we have a fairly typical blackened rasp, though it is effective with the style.
The production isn't great, but it only serves to add charm to proceedings.
Engaging and energetic, I enjoyed this a great deal.
