| Danish deathsters Urkraft caused quite a stir
when they decided to call it a day, opting to release their final full length
album as a free to download, perhaps as an act of revenge against the music
industry that, if you read any of the quotes from the time, they feel let
them down so badly. But if they're giving it away for free it can't be any good, right? Wrong. This is balls out, heads down to bang death metal, with a good mix of minor melody and straight ahead rhythmic riffing. The guitars are detuned, though not ridiculously, the drummer tight as a mollusc's anus whilst the vocalist issues forth with the standard angered, agonised roars. Top quality death metal, then. |
