The band Max Cavalera joined when he quit Sepultura, this is in a way a continuation of the experiment that his former band began with 'Chaos A.D.' and elaborated on with 'Roots' and everything they have done since.
A very modern sound, there's hints of hardcore, shades of metal, dabbings of world music - tribal drums, chanting etc - all accompanied by Max's manic vocal delivery, one of the best in the business.
Certainly not for everyone, and I can see why many purists refuse to acknowledge them as metal (they are wrong though, this is clearly metallic enough to qualify), this is way better than I expected it to be.
