| Those crazy Greeks are pretty good at gothic
metal, and here we have another example of the genre. Rich and varied, though heavily produced, this is accomplished and interesting, mixing things up rather nicely to keep the listener hooked. Male, female vocals, a multidue of instruments, tempo's and ambience, this comes across as something like a mix between the bombast of Bal Sagoth and the introspection of Type O Negative. Though hardly rocking the world in terms of power or aggression, this is nevertheless a diverting enough listen. Needs more balls, though. |
