| Melodic death, with more than a hint of the black
infused power metal that Children
of Bodom have made their own. The tunes are strong and dynamic, with some real catchy moments. The vocals are a mixture of blackened snarls, shouty hardcore style and the spoken whine of latter day In Flames. Indeed, In Flames more recent work is a decent starting point in terms of references, along with the previously cited Children of Bodom. A good band, though perhaps not original enough to really hit the big league. |
