| One of the clutch of bands emerging who are clearly
very much influenced by the new sound of In
Flames - i.e. 'Reroute to Remain' onwards. The formula here is virtually identical to the Swedish group, but there is more aggression here and, in my humble one at least, better crafted songs. Yes, there are the catchy chorus breaks, but these are kept to a minimum and overall the feel is one of more anger. Production wise this is flawless, and it is always interesting to hear a Japanese metal band apeing the style of their European contemparies. Recommended. |
